I recently ran across a post I made in 2010 concerning the iPad. I stand by what I originally said, the iPad is is the quintessential consumer widget. Although it has evolved greatly and allows us to do much more than when it first launched, it is not necessarily the best tool for creating content.

I was given the iPad 2 as a holiday gift from my boss late last year. Now I can not live without it. I still hold by my original assessment, however it is now the only medium in which I ever want to consume my daily dose of information.
